“there is you and you. this is a relationship. this is the most important relationship.” –home  ~Nayyirah Waheed

Hello! I’m glad you’re here. My name is Tony Tepedino, and I understand that everyday life can be a whirlwind of emotions, challenges, and transformations. You might be feeling overwhelmed with the pressure to make significant life decisions, navigating complex relationships, or managing the expectations of those around you. You might also be dealing with past experiences that have left a lasting impact on how you see yourself and the world.

Many people grapple with finding their place in the world while trying to balance personal desires, academic or career goals, and the need for self-discovery and growth. You may feel the weight of anxiety, depression, or the stress of life transitions, and it can sometimes seem like you’re stuck in a cycle, unable to move forward.

My role as your therapist is to help you work towards becoming the best version of yourself and overcoming the obstacles that are preventing you from getting there. I bring a unique perspective to my practice, having spent over 25 years as an educator and eventually serving as the Dean of Student Life. This experience has given me deep insights into the struggles that students, teachers, and parents face, allowing me to approach therapy with empathy and understanding.

I believe in a holistic, integrated approach to therapy, incorporating techniques from positive psychology, Self-Determination Theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, Schema Therapy, new habit formation, the science of happiness, restorative practices, non-violent communication, physical wellness, and mindfulness. I also have experience working with individuals on ADHD strategies.

I enjoy working with adults and young people aged 16 and up, focusing on areas such as anxiety, depression, life coaching, life transitions, life satisfaction, self-awareness, metacognition, relationship work, ADHD support, processing trauma, and PTSD.

If you’re ready to take the next step towards a more fulfilling and balanced life, schedule an appointment with me today by calling (585) 207-0432 or emailing newclient@quietmindtherapyservices.com. Let’s work together to help you become the person you want to be.

Warm regards,

Tony
