Behavioral and executive function support for teens, young adults, and caregivers.
“Want the best for your children, not for your children to be the best.” ~Adam Strassberg
After 27 years as an educator at Allendale Columbia School in Rochester, NY, it became clear to me that I could do more to meet the needs of the students, parents, and educators I worked with. I plan to use my experience as a foundation to further my career as a consultant.
As an educator, I have taken on many different roles. I began as a physical education teacher, then transitioned to teaching Kindergarten. I also served as the Director of Curricular Technology before working most recently as faculty in the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship teaching electives to middle and high school students, while also working on the Student Success Team as Dean of Student Life.
I am also very proud to have been the Faculty Professional Development Coordinator, Co-creator of TEDxAllendaleColumbiaSchool, Liaison for the Hybrid Learning Consortium, and co-chair of the NYSAIS Accreditation Steering Committee. I have coached several sports including; girls’ varsity basketball, and varsity golf. I hold a Master’s in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College and I will begin classes in the Fall of 2022 at SUNY Brockport for an MSW.
